New Housing Levy Deductions for TSC Teachers per Job Group: The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has released updated housing levy deduction rates for teachers in various job groups.
These deductions are calculated as a percentage of the basic monthly salary. They reflect the government’s initiative to finance the construction of 250,000 affordable housing units annually.
Employers are required to remit these deductions within nine working days after the month’s end. Any late submissions will incur a penalty of 2% per month on the outstanding amount.
