How Kisii Teacher cum Blogger Duke Nyabaro was Strangled to Death: On Sunday morning, the body of Duke Nyabaro, a prominent Kisii blogger and teacher, was found dead near his home in Kitutu Chache South.

His strangulation was confirmed by a postmortem analysis at Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital on Monday.

His death has shocked and saddened his loved ones. They have demanded an investigation into the circumstances of his passing. A close friend of Nyabaro’s, Charles Onchoke, who is also the Bonchari MP, has joined the family in demanding justice.

He was a secondary school teacher

Nyabaro was a high school teacher in Migori County. Those who know him describe him as an intelligent, talented, and a young man full of potential.

Given his promising future and significant influence in his community, his unexpected passing has shocked his loved ones.

An uncle of Nyabaro discovered his lifeless body. He then brought the matter to the attention of the family. It brought dismay and sorrow to the family and they have categorically asserted that it was not an accident. The family claims that his Nyabaro’s untimely death was a result of premeditated brutality.

Hon. Onchoke lamented the loss of his buddy Nyabaro while paying tribute to his brilliance and commitment as a teacher and in all of their joint endeavors.

Underscoring the importance of bringing the perpetrators to justice, he pleaded with law enforcement to advance the investigation. No s tone shall be left unturned.

The police are already doing thorough investigations

The situation is being thoroughly investigated by the police. They are being led by Mr. Wanga, the sub-county DCIO, in an effort to identify and capture those responsible.

The circumstances of Nyabaro’s death have deeply unsettled his family. However, they have accepted the results of the postmortem. The results clearly showed that he was strangled.

His close friends to be investigated

Nyabaro’s friends who were with him before he died are being interviewed as part of the authorities’ investigation into clues. Some people claim that they saw him together with his friends at 4am on the fateful day. They were together at 4am but an eye witness discovered his body at 6 am.

Just to further understand what Nyabaro was up to just prior to the terrible event, investigators have reviewed CCTV footage from a nearby entertainment venue. He was enjoying himself at La Vella Lounge, a popular restaurant in Kisii Town.

Authorities are still trying to figure out if Nyabaro committed suicide or if someone murdered him somewhere and then put his body at the kiosk near his home. As much as the postmortem results are very clear on strangulation, the police have to do their job to bring the potential perpetrators to book.
