Michael Carrick and Darren Fletcher will temporarily be in charge in case they don’t find a suitable replacement immediately.

According to reports from the club, they are working on his compensation terms and respectively hand him a dismissal letter given his legendary standing in the club.

Who Will Replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer?

They have thrown several names around, but according to reports, the club is seriously considering former Real Madrid manager, Zinedine Zidane.

Zidane is coy about taking charge but will consider the job in summer.

Others include Erik ten Haag of Ajax, but he is happy to continue his project at the dutch club.

Mauricio Pochettino is a long-term target for Manchester United to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, but he is currently managing PSG.

Another name that has been doing rounds is Brendan Rodgers of Leicester city.
