Concerned Nigerian Church Members Hold Special Prayers For Emmy Kosgei To Conceive A Child

Nigerian based Kenyan gospel music songstress Emmy Kosgei Madubuko is one of the most enviable women both in East and West Africa. Her music is so soothing and very unique. Most (if not all) of her songs are in the Kalenjin language but people love listening to them anyway.

Emmy has been married to Apostle Anselm Madubuko of Nigeria since 31st August 2013. The two lovebirds held a traditional wedding on 30th August 2013 according to the Kalenjin customs after which they walked down the aisle in an extravagant white wedding a day after.

They have been living happily close to eight years later if their social media posts are anything to go by. Apostle Madubuko has achieved a lot; currently being the General Overseer of Revival Assembly Church. Their church is one of the biggest Pentecostal churches in Nigeria.

Just like here in Kenya, congregants of Madubuko and Emmy’s church refer to them as ‘Father and Mother’ respectively. They adore them to say the least.

On Thursday 22nd July, 2021, the ‘Taunet nelel’ hit maker celebrated her birthday. She turned 41 years old. Her church members threw her a surprise birthday party and it moved her to tears.

One of the church members even referred to her as a gift to them as she expressed their love for her.

“You were born in Kenya but made for Nigeria. You are a very special gift to us and we love you so much. Happy birthday to you,” said the enthusiastic female church member to Emmy.

Another church member concluded the surprise with special prayers. As part of her message to God in the prayers, she prayed for Emmy to conceive a child for her husband Madubuko. It is important to note that the singer is approaching menopause with no child to show for it.

“The hand of God will continue to work for you in the name of Jesus. It won’t be long before the Lord will do that which pleases him in your life,” prayed the church member to which the others shouted the loudest “Amen”.
