Steven Odour Dede popularly known as DJ Shiti is a Kenyan actor and comedian who has graced our screens for years. His sense of humor is unrivaled. He first came to the scene as a witty caretaker in his role in the drama show called real house helps of Kawangware.
He began his professional acting career back in 2014 when he met Abel Mtua who took him to Waithaka Mukuria. Waithaka was the director of the show ‘Real House helps of Kawangware’.
He gave him a chance at Real House helps of Kawangware which he took with both hands and he has never looked back since then. Even though the agreement was to act only 5 episodes, he soon became the favorite actor among the viewers in the show and it was not possible to drop him.
The stand-up comedian is the 6th born in his family. He hails from Nakuru, was born and brought up in Musanda, Mumias, Kakamega County. He began his career in Nakuru player’s theatre, acting in various set books for High School students.
DJ Shiti always likes joking about being a top musician but his music career has never set off until a few days ago when he got into the studio and released a hot jam that featured Naiboi.
DJ shiti has wowed Kenyans with his singing skills and perhaps he was not joking when he told Kenyans that he is a serious rapper and that is why he has featured in many songs and videos for local musicians among them King Kaka, Jaystar, Timmy T-Dat, Otile Brown, Khaligraph Jones, Sauti Sol, Chukuzee, Calvo Mistari, and latest Bahati’s Ndogo Ndogo.
His new song dubbed ‘pesa’ has already hit twenty-three thousand views after it was posted 9 hours ago on youtube.
