Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua was Jalango’s guest today on his popular interview show, Bonga na Jalas. The eloquent politician addressed many issues including his quest to be Kenya’s 5th President come 2022.
In the interview, he expressed his admiration for Orange Democratic Party (ODM) party leader Raila Amollo Odinga whom he termed as a humble leader.
“We fought him seriously while I was Kenya’s Government spokesman but that was work. I could make negative remarks about him but behind the scenes, his son Fidel and Mama Ida were my close friends. I never get personal when it comes to politics,” said Dr. Mutua.
Dr. Mutua and his beautiful wife Lillian Nganga decided to dissolve their marriage recently and Kenyans cannot stop talking about them. But the good governor appreciates the fact that there is no negative publicity.
He tried to dodge the topic on his breakup but he was forced to address the issue but in a very witty way.
“We agreed with Lillian to address the issue surrounding our separation in a very respectable manner. Remember we were very much in love. We are going to concentrate on the positives,” added the 51-year-old.
During his birthday party recently which was graced by Tanzanian singing sensation Rayvanny, he was heard referring to his former first lady as “Honey”. Her presence and proactive role at the party left many Kenyans surprised about the mature way the two were handling their separation.
“I know your DM is on fire now. What are the many women that want to replace Lillian telling you?” Jalas posed the question.
That is when Governor Mutua revealed that his social media handles are crazy with surprising messages.
“Some women are really crazy. People are sending me photos of their body parts,” the Maendeleo Chap Chap Party leader spilled the beans. He however did not reveal which body parts they have been sending him but your guess is as good as mine.
It is funny how Kenyan women can be opportunistic. Even during the live interview with the Kiss FM presenter, some women were sharing their phone numbers so that Alfred Mutua can consider them.
