Health CAS Mercy Mwangangi was in Awendo today.
She accompanied the former prime minister Raila Odinga to officially open a newly built KMTC.
The national government, in collaboration with the area member of parliament, built the Kenya Medical Training College.
The institution is in the Awendo sub-county, which makes it the second medical college in the county of Migori.
The area MP appealed to the CAS to upgrade the level 3 hospital to become level 5 to allow specialized and high-level training.
The former prime minister hailed the area member of parliament for his hard work in ensuring the government kept their promise.
Health CAS Appeal To The Luo Nation
Taking to the podium, the Mercy Mwangangi drove the excited crowd into hysteria.
This is after appealing to the crowd by mentioning that she needs a man from the Luo nation.
