A group of angry youth heckled DP Ruto in Bungoma County. The Naitiri residents could not take any lie from the senior politician during his trip.
DP Ruto bragged about a series of Jubilee road development projects that have substantially connected many rural places in the region. This happened during one of his visits across the Naitiri Market in Tongaren Constituency.
Ruto said that most rural roads had been tarmacked. He also said that a better mode of transportation had been used to facilitate transport of products and services to farmers and local businesses.
“We have built many roads in Tongaren. Our government has connected power to over 50,000 homes. We have improved the health sector. The Jubilee government has built many training colleges. The institutions will equip our youths with skills and knowledge to work for a living,” said DP Ruto.
The irate Tongaren villagers caught DP Ruto off guard. He claimed that the building of the Naitiri road connecting Chebukube market was still on.
He added that Tongaren residents were getting ready to enjoy the fruits of Jubilee government.

The crowd rudely heckled DP Ruto’s address by disclosing that building of the aforementioned Naitiri-Chebukube road had not yet begun. This embarrassed him badly.
The UDA Party leader will travel to Bumula Constituency. Here the outspoken Bumula MP Hon Mwambu Mabonga will host him. He will then conclude his tour at Kimaeti Market.

Ruto’s Western region journey comes only a day after he traversed the rich-vote Mt Kenya Region. This was to cement his hustler narrative in the hearts of the electorate. The campaigns will see him earn many votes in next year’s contest.
