Rogue cop Caroline Kangogo committed suicide in her father’s bathroom in their rural home in Elgeyo Marakwet at around 7 am in the morning. Her mother discovered her body when she went to wash the bathroom.
She had a bullet wound on her head and a gun was still firmly held in her hand. The police officers came to the scene and secured it. They took the body of the late police officer to Iten hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem.
The cop who had been on the run for days was kind enough to inform Kenyans why she had to do what she did in a suicide note that was discovered drafted in her phone.
In that Note, Kangogo narrated how Peter Ndwiga conned her 1.5 million shillings and Corporal John Ogweno had to die because he harassed her sexually.
Caroline further claimed that her father disowned when her marriage to Ng’eno failed due to infidelity with different women and that drove her into depression.
She revealed that she was in Mombasa on Tuesday to kill her husband and she indeed got a clear shot at him but decided not to pull the trigger because of her Kids.
The rogue cop decided to forgive him and she has asked him to do the same. She further revealed how the Nakuru OCS that is based in the central police station where she was attached put her through hell when she refused his sexual advances.
Nyagah drove her into depression by frustrating her because he couldn’t accept rejection from Kangogo. In her last wish, the late police officer has asked her parents to give all her money to her brother to cater for his school fees because she was his only hope and now she is gone.
She also asked her body to be cremated and be buried in her father’s compound in a wedding dress that her husband would not afford because her husband dumped her for other women.
She also asked them not to give anything to her husband because all she had was built from scratch when they divorced.
She also requested her brother to take care of her children because her husband is an irresponsible man that he is so much into women.
