Kenyans woke up today to very surprising news of the sudden demise of killer cop Caroline Chemutai Kangogo. The 34-year-old mother of two has been a fugitive for almost 2 weeks now after killing police constable John Ogweno in Nakuru and security consultant Peter Njiru in Juja.
When her search was intensified recently by the DCI officers, she was forced to get a lawyer to try to plead her case. She never wanted to be arrested and she prayed to the court to allow her surrender peacefully.
Reports of her alleged suicide have been received differently by Kenyans on social media. The Law Society of Kenya (LSK) president, Nelson Havi is one of those that do not buy the media reports about the beautiful cop killing herself.
According to a tweet that he posted on his official Twitter account, Havi claims that the media has been forced by the DCI to run a fake story about what might have transpired.

The soft spoken lawyer raised pertinent questions like there being no witness and au topsy report before coming up to such a conclusion.
“Who are the witnesses and when was the autopsy done? We can’t jump into conclusions prematurely,” said Havi.
A few days ago, he told the special crimes boss how he was sure Caroline Kangogo could not make it alive. He implied that the DCI officers would kill her and tell Kenyans that her body has been found. That is exactly what happened today.

The media has been conscripted by DCI to run with the cover up story “Caroline Kangogo commits suicide.” Who was the witness? When was the autopsy done? I remember telling special crimes boss on Tuesday, “I am sure you guys will eventually tell us that you found her dead.” ^POLSK

From the graphic photo that is circulating online, the gun that she allegedly used to shoot herself remains clutched in her right hand. Her legs also appear crossed.
Might she have been murdered and her suicide stage managed? We will have to wait for the official autopsy report to know what exactly happened.
