Thomas Oyaro remains dropped in Nyamira

Fast forward to October 18th, 2021, between 3 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., at Konate area in Nyamira County, a saloon car purportedly with 5 people, 3 ladies in the back seat and 2 men, a driver and another on the passenger seat, dropped a piece of luggage in a gunny bag and sped away.

Next to where the unidentified people dropped the bag is a Motor Bike station. Boda boda operators wait here to pick up passengers and drop them off at various locations in the area. Those that were there were curious.

They opened the gunny bag, and they were astounded to find human remains; a mutilated torso in the bag but no head. They called the cops right away and notified them of the contents of the bag.

The next morning, the police arrived and transported the torso to the Nyamira County Referral Hospital Mortuary.

The disfigured body, which no one recognized, was left at the Mortuary. Because no one claimed it, the police extracted the fingerprints. They sent the specimen to Nairobi, where it was discovered that the torso belonged to Mr. Thomas Oyaro Magwamu.

The police officers notified the family of the events, which were difficult to comprehend but it had happened. A very sad story.
