Dr. Gakura is a Nakuru based Gynaecologist/Obstetrician who shocked the entire country after he killed his 2 kids.
His neighbors found him lying next to his dead children with vials of insulin and a sharp knife on the table.
They rushed the consultant obstetrician to Nakuru county referral hospital for emergency care.
They later admitted him to an intensive care unit, but sadly, he succumbed yesterday evening.
Detectives are still working hard to unravel the actual cause of death, but the death of Dr. Gakura makes it mission impossible.
People who know Dr. Gakura and his wife Winnie Odhiambo say that they were a happy couple whose priority was their kids.

According to Winnie Odhiambo’s sister,Gakura encouraged Winnie to go for further studies in JKUAT and he was the one paying the school fees.
They even had a hospital which is being managed by Winnie in Nakuru.
That fateful day when he allegedly killed his children, they were in constant communication.
She was attending classes at JKUAT and he promised to pick her on Sunday so that they visit a relative in Thika.
She waited for them so that they drive her to Thika only to be informed that he had killed their kids.
