Machakos Governor Dr. Alfred Mutua and his wife Lillian Nganga announced their separation yesterday and netizens cannot keep calm. The two lovebirds have been serving Kenyans with couple goals and truth be said; theirs has been an enviable marriage.
They were keen not to reveal the reasons for their breakup but all indications show that there might have been infidelity involved.
Blogger Robert Alai alleged on his Facebook page that the eloquent governor was seen in March this year ‘shopping’ for call girls in Mombasa. The story, however, cannot be substantiated since it was just hearsay.
Also in February, Edgar Obare exposed the witty governor for allegedly impregnating a lady called Daizy and neglecting her. The lady had alleged that the governor stopped sending her upkeep and by the time she was six months pregnant, she decided to expose him.
The story put Obare in trouble after the lady recanted her statement. The tea master was arrested on grounds of defamation but it is not clear how the story ended.
Rapper Juliani has also been trending since the couple made their announcement yesterday. This is because the high flying rapper who is also actress Brenda Wairimu’s baby daddy has been seen with Lillian Nganga more than once in compromising situations.
Mike Sonko even released a video clip of Juliani hanging out with Lillian at former Chief Justice, Willy Mutunga’s birthday party.
In what looks like taking advantage of a volatile situation, a lady using the Twitter handle @G_ru_sha has offered to take over Lillian Nganga as Machakos County’s First Lady.
She claims that she is single and that someone should bring her to the attention of Alfred Mutua. She has even changed her name to ‘April Mutua’.
“Someone to tell Alfred Mutua about me❤️❤️😍 I’m single,” tweeted the lady on her Twitter account. The post has attracted more than 1800 likes. It sure sounds hilarious. Check it out below;
