One Kenya Alliance (OKA) Forms New Alliance with Mt Kenya Kingpins

One Kenya Alliance (OKA) major partners (Kalonzo, Wetangula, Gideon Moi, Mudavadi, and Cyrus Jirongo) have begun pre-election re-alignment talks. They are having meetings with other like-minded parties ahead of the 2022 general election.

They addressed the media recently following a closed-door meeting with the Mt Kenya Unity Forum principals. Among those that attended include Speaker Justin Muturi and Narc Kenya party leader Martha Karua.

Former Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Mwangi Kiunjuri, former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo, and other Central region leaders also attended. The leaders met to forge a permanent deal that will see the two political factions walk comparatively together.

The primary aim of the meeting was to find Uhuru’s successor in next year’s anticipated hot race.

“We (the leadership of OKA and Mt Kenya Unity Forum) came together to investigate the possibility of working together. We are Kenyans, and none of us can do it alone,” Said the Mt Kenya Unity Forum Spokesperson Martha Karua.

Bungoma senator Moses Wetangula, who also serves as the Ford Kenya party’s leader addressed journalists. He disclosed that the successful discussion had reached a critical stage.

According to Wetangula, they will spearhead the agenda of raising the lives of impoverished people across the country. They will achieve this through imputation of economic resuscitation concepts.

“We will think, act, and move together. One Kenya Alliance and Mt Kenya Unity Forum have begun a road of moving together. We had a very successful discussion this morning. More meetings will follow. We can only ask Kenyans to monitor this place,” Wetangula said.

In other news, hustler nation head Deputy President William Ruto was in Kericho County for a five-day visit of the Rift Valley region. His intention is to plaster the region with the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) bottom-up agenda.

Thousands of his supporters barricaded busy roads in anticipation of being empowered and addressed by DP Ruto. The crowd brought business to a standstill.
