Jesus is the son of God, and every believer enjoys associating themselves with him because he is our savior.
On Saturday, Deputy President William Ruto returned to the Mt. Kenya region, where he delivered his bottom-up economic message.
DP Ruto compared the Bible’s account of Jesus Christ to his bottom-up methodology, and thus to himself and his hustler movement.
The deputy president did this while visiting the ACCS Church in Thika before doing a series of rallies in Gatundu north and Thika town.
According to the DP, Jesus rose from being a peasant’s boy born in a manger to having His own followers.
“Yesu pia ni product ya bottom-up, alizaliwa kwa manger akapanda hadi akawa na was,” he said.
The DP chastised his rivals for rejecting his hustling movement and questioning his economic theories.
He remarked it is critical for the current government to ensure that individuals at the bottom of the chain rise.
According to the deputy president, this is the only way a country will progress.
“Hawa watu wawache kiburi bwana… na wawache madharau…”
“kazi ni kazi… kama ya Prime Minister ni kazi, ya hawa vijana ni kazi pia,” he said.
Ruto also emphasized the importance of education, stating that we can only secure the future of our youth through proper education.
He stated that the Jubilee government had created 170 training colleges and 7 new colleges in Kiambu County.
“Yule jamaa wa mawe na vita alituletea kisirani na kusambaratisha chama cha Jubilee…”
“Next year reggae haitaanza, mwaka ujao itakua kazi ni kazi,” he said.
“Next year, tunaweka Ksh.100 billion for housing, manufacturing value addition …”
“Tutengeneze ajira kwa vijana. Mwaka ujao tunaweka pesa katika biashara ya watu wadogo wadogo.”
