He is now the undisputed King of the mountain having trounced the president in his backyard in the recent by-election that was held in Kiambaa Constituency, Kiambu county.

On Sunday 25th, July 2020, William Ruto was in Nyandarua County. To make sure his meeting went on smoothly as planned; his PA Farouk Kibet was on the ground earlier to make sure everything was going according to plan.
He was overheard instructing people to show their love for the deputy president as he alighted from his vehicle. He told them to clap more enthusiastically with ululations.
This tells us that all the energy, jubilations in his meetings, and those of top politicians are pre-meditated and cosmetic made to send a message that they are the GOATS which is meant to cause panic and despair in their opponents and guarantee victory.
