The ODM party leader, along with Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya, stated that plans are underway to decrease fuel prices.

In attendance were the Secretary-General of the Central Organization of Trade Unions (COTU), Francis Atwoli, and other officials.

He assured, “I tell you, fuel prices will go down this following week.

“They now stand to have their collective suffering aggravated,” he said on social media.

Raila also stated, while speaking to Bungoma locals, that we should change the Constitution after the 2022 General Election.

According to the former premier, he is the best candidate to make the changes.

He also mentioned that the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) was on hiatus and would restart in the future.

In contrast to Deputy President William Ruto’s bottom-up economic approach, Raila’s campaign message is on unity.

He claims that his ‘Azimio la Umoja’ will solve the country’s economic requirements.
