David Murathe and other senior Jubilee party officials have now admitted it is difficult to impeach William Ruto.
This is because both chambers of parliament must support the decision .
According to a report published by Taifa Leo on Saturday, Ruto’s name is no longer in the party register.
DP William Ruto’s fierce critic admitted he still stands a chance of losing many things associated with the Jubilee Party Leadership.
“Deputy President William Ruto is incredibly fortunate in that he opposed the 2010 constitution vigorously”.
“He campaigned against it, voted ‘NO,’ and now he is the first to benefit from it “.
“The constitution protects him from being removed from office unless Parliament impeaches him,” Raphael Tuju told KTN News.
David Murathe conveyed a coded message to Raila Odinga and his whole ODM camp.
Murathe stated Raila was still the most trusted and favored presidential candidate for 2022.
“Mt Kenya’s favored candidate for President Uhuru Kenyatta’s victory remains ODM leader Raila Odinga.
This is according to Jubilee Party Vice chairperson David Murathe.
Speaking to the Sunday Nation yesterday, Murathe, a close supporter of Uhuru, has warned Ruto to forget the presidency.
Murathe feels the presidency is not a preserve of two communities.
William Ruto is unfazed by the antics of the Jubilee party because he has already founded his own party, which has a sizable following.
The once powerful national party, according to the deputy president, is now a shell since practically everyone has departed.
We expect Ruto to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta, although he is up against Raila Odinga.
It will fascinate Kenyans to see how the two heavyweights handle the thorny problem of a running partner.
