Caroline Kangogo’s Father Barnaba Korir Provides Fresh Details of What Killed His Daughter

The circumstances surrounding Caroline Kangogo’s death has become a matter of public interest. The 34-year-old cop went berserk about 2 weeks ago and killed her fellow police officer, Constable John Ogweno. She then went ahead to kill Peter Ndwiga Njiru in cold blood after luring him to a room in Dedamax Hotel in Juja.

The mother of two then became the most wanted Kenyan by the DCI but for some reason, she managed to escape all the police dragnets until her lifeless body was discovered at her rural home in Elgeyo Marakwet.

After combing up the scene, a phone in which the deceased had written a comprehensive suicide note was discovered and taken to Iten Police Station. But the narrative that she committed suicide has been a point of debate by Kenyans on social media.

Because of the persistent small talk that Caroline might have been executed and her suicide stage managed, her father Barnaba Korir who is a retired police officer has come out to clarify some details. He has provided fresh details to the media on what transpired in the morning of Friday 16th

July, 2021.

According to him, the bathroom door in which his daughter’s lifeless body was found was locked from the inside. Caroline’s mother Leah Kangogo was doing her routine cleaning when she discovered that the bathroom door was locked from the inside but it was quiet. That is when she raised alarm and when they broke the door, they found her lying in a pool of blood.

From these new details, we can conclude that the lady killed herself. She must have locked the door then shot herself in the head. If she was executed as most Kenyans tend to suspect, then there is no way the executer could have locked the door from the inside.

The funny thing is how some Kenyans will doubt her father’s testimony but believe some of the contents of her suicide note. The fact remains; they can never pretend to love her more than her own parents.
