Autopsy Results Reveal the Real Cause of Caroline Kangogo’s Death

Late Killer cop Caroline Kangogo’s father Barnaba Kipkoech Korir shed tears on national television last week. This was as a result of frustrations the family underwent following a delayed postmortem process.

There is no way the government would have released her body without conducting a thorough autopsy. This forced the family to postpone the burial day from Saturday 24th July to a later date.

Well, Caroline’s family members are now a relieved lot after the government pathologist Dr. Johansen Oduor availed himself today at the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH) and conducted the autopsy.

Dr. Oduor addressed the media and revealed that the 34-year-old mother of two died of a single gunshot wound.  The bullet that killed her penetrated through the skull and destroyed her brains. She could not survive the severe hemorrhage that happened after that.

However, the government pathologist was not able to conclude whether she killed herself. That is why he took some more samples from the body to carry out further tests.

The tests are to prove whether she indeed died at the same spot where she was found or whether she was killed elsewhere and her body transferred to the place where she was found.

Meanwhile, her family is now free to go on with burial arrangements as the body was transferred back to Iten County Referral Hospital Mortuary. She is set to be buried at her parents’ home in Nyawa Village, Elgeyo Marakwet County.

The beautiful cop hit the headlines recently after allegedly killing Police Constable John Ogweno in cold blood. Two days later, she is alleged to have lured and killed Peter Ndwiga Njiru at Dedamax Hotel in Juja. The DCI then launched a manhunt for her which lasted for more than ten (10) days.

John Ogweno has since been buried in one of the most heartbreaking funerals ever witnessed by the police.
